The Journey

As I’ve quoted, tweeted, and been retweeted: “Truth is a pathless land” – Krishnamurty. It is literally a pathless land. Go look at the expanse of the ocean, the desert, the sky, the forest, and you will see truth and beauty. Even in the most remote, cold, desert, or otherwise harsh environments there is beauty. Of course the metaphorical meaning is that there is no one path to truth. Truth is everywhere and it is in the journey where we both lose it and find it again.

The journey is time and time is existence, so the journey is also existence. Without time everything exists all at once and is gone instantly. Both created and destroyed the instant it is created, also neither created nor destroyed. Everything exists in potential form, but not manifest form. Without time, nothing can manifest. It exists in a state of limbo. This is a crude way of describing it but the correct words do not exist in this language. Please read the previous post, "Existence"

Existence

The beauty of existence is twofold. One, to exist in the first place and two, the ability to add to existence, i.e. create. Creating is adding to existence. Even creating something deemed by most standards to be unpleasant or disturbing is not judged by the universe as such. The universe is neutral, an observer, of sorts just watching the unfolding of creation happen. At times the universe will take an active role and direct creation into a specific intention**. At other times, it just watches and yet at other times, it pays no attention at all while it is dreaming of something new and allows creation to continue on autopilot until the universe checks in again to see where things are at.

So why are we here? We are here to exist and to create, and just to be here. We are to be a new and unique existence and to experience all the dimensions of existence. We are also here because we had the Yi** to exist, the idea of what we would become. This is the best way I can answer this question.

**When I say “intention” it has a broader meaning than the usual context. I mean it to include the following concepts: idea, notion, will to create, will to exist, potential, energy to become manifest. This is also known as “yi” in Chinese.

We

We all have something to share with one another
We all have something to give
We all have something we can learn from each other
We all have the freedom to live
